Overview

EDTA-4Na is an important complexing agent and metal shielding agent, white crystalline powder at room temperature, soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol and other organic solvents, can lose part or all of the crystal water at high temperature.

Its aqueous solution is alkaline, with a pH of about 11.84. EDTA-4Na has good chelating ability and can form stable chelates with various metal ions，so it is widely used in many fields.
